Turn a page you wrote by hand into an entry

Photograph a page of your paper journal, check what Pensio read beside the photo, and add it on the day you wrote it. On Pro.

A photographed notebook page beside the words Pensio read from it, ready to be checked.

I still keep a paper notebook for the days I want to be away from screens. For a long time those pages never met the rest of my journal, so Explore and my reflections only knew half of it.

Now they can. Open Handwriting, photograph a page or a stack of pages, and Pensio reads them. Then comes the important part: you check what it read beside each photograph, fix any word it got wrong, and choose the day the page belongs to. Words it could not make out are marked, but treat every page as a draft, because a page with no marks can still be wrong. Nothing is added until you add the pages to your journal yourself, and then each page becomes an ordinary entry on its day, with the photograph kept beside it.

The photo is sent to a service that reads handwriting, and that service does not keep it. Anything else in the frame goes with it, so keep just the page in the picture. Pensio never links a name it read to one of your people on its own. If you turned Pensio's AI off, Handwriting asks you first.

Handwriting is on Pro. Open Journal and press Handwriting.
