Reading your entries is the slowest thing Pensio does, and until now it happened in silence. If you arrived with a big Obsidian vault, you could open a dashboard that seemed to know almost nothing about you, with no hint that the rest was on its way.

Now Pensio says so. When more is waiting than it can read in a day, your Dashboard, your Journal and your Usage page show a short line under Reading your journal: how many entries it has read so far, out of how many, and what happens next. Every entry is already in your journal and safe while it waits. Only the reading takes time.

And the very first day Pensio reads for a new account now covers a much larger part of the writing, once, so a journal you bring on day one has something real to show straight away.

To see it, bring a journal in, for example with the Obsidian plugin, and open your Dashboard.
