What's new

Add a photo to an entry, right where it belongs

Put a photo inside an entry, at the line it belongs to. Where it was taken and the camera details are removed before it is saved.

Some days the thing I want to write about is a picture: the table after a long dinner, a note on the fridge, the view from a bench. Until now I described it in words and kept the photo somewhere else.

Now an entry can hold the photo itself. While you write, press Add a photo and choose one from your phone or computer. It goes in at the line you were on, inside your writing rather than in a gallery underneath. It works in a browser and in the iPhone and Android apps.

Before a photo is saved, Pensio removes what is hidden inside it: where it was taken, the camera and the time of day. Only the picture is kept, and it is not sent to an AI model. If you remove a photo from the entry, the file goes too. And when you download your journal, every photo comes with it, in the place it sat.

Open Journal, start a New entry, and press Add a photo.
