What Pensio noticed in your writing, without being asked. One card at most, and often none

Explore answers when you ask it something. This works the other way round: it looks across your entries and points out one thing you would have had to go looking for yourself, then gives you a way further in.

A thread you left in an Explore conversation, opened seventy-four days ago and last moved three days ago. It sits on the page until you say it is settled. Nothing else can close it, and you can open it again.

What you can do

Ask about it, or write about it
Every row is a door: into Explore, or into the composer already pointed at it.
Read the entry, or the person
Straight to what the card was about.
Not now, or stop these
Thirty days of quiet, or for good. Both can be undone from Watching.
Mark a thread settled, or open it again
You close it. Nothing else can, and closing it is reversible.
Stop the reflection prompts
One press in the row's menu, under From your reflections.
Turn the whole page off
Settings, then What it reads. Off means it does not analyse your journal at all, not that it analyses it and stays quiet — the daily check stops with it, so no note can arrive either.

Around thirty entries is where it starts noticing things you would not: an entry from a year ago today, a name that came back.

It waits. One card at most, the threads you left open, the prompts your reflections left, and what it is watching.

Thirty days of quiet on a subject, or for good. Difficult entries are held back on their own, and off means it does not analyse your journal at all.

One card at most, and often none
The empty page is the normal one. Each section explains itself when it is empty, so a quiet page tells you why rather than looking broken. Around thirty entries is where it starts noticing things you would not.
It tells you at most once a week
Pensio checks each day whether this page has anything on it. When it does, and it is not the same thing you were shown last time, it leaves one note in the app. At most once a week, never two waiting at once, and never when you opened the page yourself in the last day. It never emails you about it. Turning Open Questions off in Settings, then What it reads, stops the checking as well as the note.
Difficult entries are held back
When it offers something you did not ask for, it first checks whether that entry reads as a hard one, and stays quiet if it does. Three things count: how the entry scored when you wrote it, grief and loss, and anything older that was never read. It is a rough filter and it errs on the side of quiet: it will hold back entries you would have been glad to see, because a colleague leaving reads like a loss. Nothing is deleted or hidden anywhere else, and it never applies to anything you asked for; search for a hard week and you will find it. Turn it off in Settings, then What it reads, to see everything.
