Memory: An AI Journal That Remembers You

Most AI chats start from zero every time. Pensio remembers — building a growing understanding of who you are.

Benefits

Remembers Across Sessions

Facts, preferences, and patterns you share persist from one conversation to the next. Close the app and come back a month later — it still knows you.

Learns Your Context

Tell it once that you are training for a marathon or navigating a hard season — it carries that context into every future answer.

You Stay in Control

Every memory is visible and editable. Rewrite one in your own words and the row says you wrote it. Set one aside and the model cannot learn it again.

Better Answers Over Time

The more you journal and chat, the more grounded and personal the responses become — never generic, always about you.

Memory

A few things about you, so it does not ask the same question twice

Everything it remembers is visible and correctable. That is the reason this is a named feature and not a hidden cache.

An example

Your entry, the night Lisbon came up
She wants to go back to Lisbon eventually. I didn’t know that.
  • Fact partner is Sofia
  • Open thread whether Lisbon is a plan or a someday

Weeks on, you open Explore and it does not ask who Sofia is, and the thread about Lisbon is still there waiting for you to say it is finished. Nothing else closed it.

What you can do

See all of it
Nothing is hidden from you.
Ask about it, or write about it
Every row is a door: into Explore holding that sentence, or into the composer with it named above a blank page.
Set aside
It stops reaching the model, and the model cannot learn it again. Use it again and it comes back.
Not right?
Rewrite it in your own words. The row then says you wrote this.
Forget
Gone. Unlike setting one aside, the model can learn it again.
Mark a thread settled, or open it again
You close it. Nothing else can, and closing it is reversible.

How It Works

1

Chat with Explore

Ask questions, reflect, and share context in the Explore AI chat — just like you would with a thoughtful advisor.

2

It saves what matters

When you share a meaningful fact or preference, the AI saves it as a memory — your goals, the people in your life, what helps you, what you are working through.

3

Memory shapes every answer

In future conversations, the AI draws on what it remembers — so you never have to re-explain your situation from scratch.

4

You keep the pen

Open Memory, in the main menu, to read, correct, set aside, or forget anything. It is the full ledger.

Use Cases

Persistent memory turns Explore from a chatbot into an advisor that genuinely knows your story.

A continuous relationship

Instead of a fresh chatbot each time, you build an ongoing relationship with an advisor that knows your history, your people, and your patterns.

Long-term goal support

Share a goal once and the AI keeps it in mind — checking in on progress and connecting your daily entries back to what you said matters most.

Less repeating, more reflecting

Spend your conversations going deeper, not re-establishing context. The AI already knows the basics, so you can get to the real reflection faster.

Frequently Asked Questions

Set aside and settled look alike and mean opposite things
Set aside is a memory you took away from the model. Settled is a thread you finished. Using one again never reopens the other.
Set one aside, then delete the conversation it came from, and Pensio can learn it again
Deleting a conversation forgets everything it taught, the rows you set aside included. That is two safeguards meeting badly, and it is live today.
An edit over 500 characters is refused, never shortened
Cutting your sentence would hand back a memory you did not write.
