Benefits
At the minute you wrote it
Journey records the moment of every entry. Pensio keeps it, in the entry’s own timezone when the export names one and in yours when it does not.
Photos where you put them
A photo placed between two paragraphs stays between them. Photos are not held to a limit per entry.
Place, weather, music and tags kept
Each becomes a short line at the end of the entry. Videos cannot come across, and the report names each one with its day.
Once, and reversible
Choose the same export twice and nothing is brought in twice. If you change your mind, one button removes the import and nothing you wrote in Pensio.

Bring your Journey diary across, every entry at the moment you wrote it.
Years of writing in Journey can come with you. Export it once as a ZIP, choose the file, and every entry arrives at the moment you wrote it, with its photos, places and weather, ready for Explore, your insights and search.

It arrives on that day at 19:05, with the photo where you put it, and “Café Central, Lisbon” and “Light rain, 14 °C” as lines of the entry.
What you can do
- See what is in it before anything leaves your device
- The export is read in your browser first: its entries, the months they cover, and how many photos, before you choose Import.
- Leave and come back
- If an import stops, choose the same export again. What already came across is skipped, and nothing is brought in twice.
- Take it back
- For 30 days, one button removes everything an import brought in and nothing you wrote in Pensio. You can keep the entries you changed since.
How It Works
Export from Journey
On Android or a computer: Settings, then Data & Cloud Services, choose a cloud service, then Export or Backup. On the web: Settings, then Cloud, then Backup. It saves a ZIP with your photos inside.
Choose the file in Pensio
Your browser reads the export first and shows how many entries, which months, and how many photos it holds.
Import it
Entries come across one by one. If the page closes, choose the same export again and it carries on where it stopped.
Read the report
It says what came across and names everything that could not, such as videos, with its day.
