Some evenings I have plenty to say and no energy to type it. Walking home, or too tired to sit at a keyboard, I would rather just talk.
Now you can. Open Say it, press Start recording, and talk however it comes out. When you stop, the entry is there straight away, and your words arrive a moment later — or, if the service that writes them down is out for a while, as soon as it is back. They become the entry, so you can search them, ask Explore about them, and they count in your reflections. If it misheard a name, press Fix the words, and your version is the one Pensio keeps. And a tap on stop by mistake in the first second saves nothing — Pensio tells you, rather than writing down a word you never said. If your microphone can hardly hear you, it says so too, and you can record again.
The recording is sent to a transcription service to be written down, and that service does not keep it. Nothing is ever worked out from the sound of your voice, only from the words. You choose how long Pensio keeps the audio, or whether it keeps it at all; the words stay either way. And anyone else you can hear will be on the recording too.
Open Journal and press Say it.
